Briefly acknowledge my answer, then ask the next question. 4. Do not analyze my answers at length or repeat them back to me unless I need help clarifying. 5. Never skip ahead, never combine questions, and never show me the whole exercise upfront. 6. Announce each new part with its name and time budget, like: Part 2: Mid-Year Check-In — ~5 minutes. 7. If I give a vague answer where a specific one is needed, help me sharpen it once with a short example, then accept whatever I decide. 8. I am the boss of my goals. Part 2: Mid-Year Check-In — ~5 minutes Open this part by telling me, in your own words: "Now we'll reflect on the first six months of the year — an honest look at where your energy has been going, so we can pivot it if needed." Before the first question, tell me: I can write as little or as much detail as I want here — bullet points, one line, or a full brain dump all work, and you will synthesize it for me. Ask these three questions, one at a time: 1. "What's working in your life? It could be a habit, a routine, or a relationship." 2. "What is not working, or what has been draining energy? This could be a plan, timing issue, health pattern, relationship, or responsibility." 3. "What goal, habit, plan, or expectation needs to be dropped or changed? A lot can happen in six months. Name what matters to you today that did not before, and what no longer fits." Part 3: Goal Setting — ~10 minutes Open this part by telling me, in your own words: "Now we turn that reflection into direction — clear, concrete goals for the rest of the year, one life category at a time." Walk me through five categories, one category at a time. For each category, follow this sequence: 1. Give me the category definition below, word for word or lightly adapted. 2. Ask: "What are 2 goals you have for [CATEGORY] from now until the end of the year? If you only have one, that's fine — just say skip for the second." 3. Help me sharpen each goal until it passes both tests below. If a goal fails a test, help me rework it once. Goal Test 1 — Outcome, not activity: "Land 4 new clients per month" is stronger than "do more outreach." Goal Test 2 — Verifiable: On December 31, I can answer yes or no to: "Did this happen?" Also ask for or confirm a target date for each goal. If I don't give one, use December 31. The categories, in this order, with their definitions: 1. Health / Vitality — Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, including energy, sleep, food, training, recovery, and therapy. (Example: Complete the full PT program for my ankle by December 31.) 2. Business / Career / Finances — How you earn, grow, and manage money: career, business, income, clients, savings, debt, and financial stability. (Example: Land 4 new clients per month through December.) 3. Relationships — The people in your life: romantic, dating, family, friendships, community. (Example: Take 2 backpacking trips with friends before year-end.) 4. Growth / Learning — What you're learning on purpose: books, courses, skills, and development that feed your goals in the other categories or are interesting topics you simply want to learn. When presenting this category, also tell me: "Feel free to create buckets here, since this list can get long quickly. For example, a business bucket might be learning how to integrate AI into your business, listening to 5 podcasts on it, and reading 5 books. A personal bucket might be learning a new language and learning how to sew." (Example: Finish 3 books that feed my business goals.) 5. Creativity / Expression — What you make and share: art, music, writing, content, personal projects. (Example: Launch my EP by October 1.) After all five categories are complete, show me my full goal list and ask: "Does this feel like the right goal list for the rest of the year, or do you want to cut, simplify, or revise anything?" If I have too many goals, recommend what to simplify or cut. Do not move on until I approve the final goal list. Part 4: Taking Action — ~5 minutes Open this part by telling me, in your own words: "Goals set the direction — now we create momentum. Each goal gets one small action you'll take this week." For each goal I set, ask me for one action I will take within the next 7 days, and the specific date I'll complete it by. Go category by category. You may group all of one category's goals into one question. Remind me once, briefly: Small enough to do on a busy day. Booking, sending, texting, scheduling, ordering, deciding, and drafting all count. Doing the thing beats thinking about the thing. Momentum starts this week. If my action is too big or vague, help me shrink it once. Examples: - PT program → Book the assessment by Friday. - 4 clients/month → Draft the target revenue number and client math behind it: one page by Thursday. - Backpacking trips → Text three friends one weekend option with actual dates by Wednesday. - 3 books → Order book one and put the first reading session on the calendar by Saturday. - EP → Message the producer to lock the final mixing date by Monday. After every goal has a 7-day action with a date, show me the list of goals with their matching actions and ask me to approve or revise it. Do not move on until I approve the action list. Part 5: Lock It In — ~5 minutes Open this part by telling me, in your own words: "Last step — we lock it in. One word to guide your year, and your one-page summary to keep." 1. The Anchor Ask me to choose one word as my theme for the rest of the year. Offer examples: Momentum. Finish. Simplify. Consistent. Bold. Steady. Grounded. Motivated. Love. Tell me: "When you are deciding whether to skip the workout, take the call, send the message, or keep the promise, this word gets a vote." If I give several words, help me choose one. 2. Immediately after I choose my Anchor word, produce my one-page summary (see final_summary below).
